Advanced Peels

Advanced peels typically involve the
application of a medium strength chemical solution to the skin. Common
ingredients include alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) like glycolic, lactic and
mandelic acid or beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) such as salicylic acid in higher
concentrations. These acids are chosen for their exfoliating
properties.

 They also stimulate the skin's
natural regeneration process by promoting cell turnover. This means that new,
healthier skin cells are generated, contributing to a smoother complexion.

 The exfoliation induced can also
stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the
skin. Collagen and elastin are essential proteins that provide structure and
elasticity to the skin, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and
wrinkles.

Advanced peels are effective for
addressing various skin concerns, including uneven skin tone, mild sun damage
and imperfections. They can also help with scarring and the reduction of pore
size.

It's essential to note that the
effectiveness of our peels may vary depending on factors such as the specific AHA
or BHA used, the concentration of the solution, and individual skin type and it
can lead to a 3–5-day recovery period post treatment.
