Skin Needling

Skin needling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a non-surgical procedure for facial rejuvenation.

Skin needling involves the use of a micro-needling device to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-injuries, or channels, stimulate the body's natural healing process, leading to the production of new collagen and
elastin fibres

During a skin needling session, the micro-needling device creates tiny punctures in the skin's surface. These micro channels trigger a controlled inflammatory response, prompting the release of growth factors.

Specifically, skin needling stimulates the release of platelet-derived growth factors, and
fibroblast growth factor. These substances play a crucial role in the
regeneration of skin cells and the formation of new collagen and elastin fibres.

As the skin heals from these micro-injuries, it becomes firmer, and more youthful in appearance. Additionally, skin needling promotes the formation of new blood vessels and the production of new collagen, resulting in improved skin texture, reduced scarring, and enhanced hydration.
